Champtek’s Active RFID Applications to Shoulder the Safety of Our Future

A security red flag has been raised with the increasing occurrences of intruders found on the supposedly safe school properties. In order to give our most valuable future, the children, a safe and carefree environment to learn and grow, Champtek, Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC) and the Ministry of Education have teamed up to conduct a special “RFID Applications for School Safety” project to reinforce the security of our schools. There are six elementary schools and three special education schools involved in this project; each school has a unique RFID security system designed by Champtek and AIDC to best suit its needs. The system can perform the following applications:

Notification of student going to/and returning home from school

Student body temperature management

Danger zone management

School visitor management
The RFID security system is expected to be applied in more schools from early November.
